MBO/PIQ

Market by Order (MBO) is a data feed provided by the CME that provides a user the ability to view individual queue position, the size of individual orders at each price level (PIQ), and the full depth of book.

Market by Order is now supported! Currently this is available for all products except for Options. Options will be supported later this year.

This is only available on version 8.0.1.3 or higher. You can install the latest version by going to ctsfutures.com

How to Enable

  • Currently to enable the MBO feed you will need to reach out to your firm administrator and ask them to enable your user for the MBO feed.
  • You also need to enable it on the trading frontend.

To enable it on the frontend you need to go to your main properties and then enable Market By Order.

Once enabled you will see full depth of market in all supported exchanges.

Currently MBO is not available for delayed data, it can only be setup with real-time data.

Position in Queue(PIQ)

To enable Position in Queue on the Trading Ladder (DOM) Go to the properties of the Trading Ladder and from there you can enable how you want to view your Position in Queue.

Once enabled you will have two new columns. Bid B PIQ and Offer O PIQ. You can set it to

  • Only contracts ahead
  • Only Orders ahead
  • Both contracts ^ Orders ahead.

Tip For Multiple working orders at the same price we only display the closest order to being filled.

Tip You can easily add or remove columns to the revision ticket by clicking the properties icon located in the upper left of the ticket.

Orderbook
