Option Sheet
You can now access T4 Option Sheets on your mobile device!
Opening a Sheet
To view the option sheets you can long press on either the Option or Futures quotes on your quote page. In the image below we long pressed on the November Futures and we get two choices Option, or CSO. In this example the we selected the Option sheet.
Now we are presented with a list of all the options related to the soybeans
- This is the current price of the front month. The net change is displayed underneath.
- This is a list of all options related to the underlying. The days to expiration are displayed in ()
- You will see the High, Low and total trade volume of the front month. Tap the dropdown to see more information.
- Tap here to expand and show all the strikes. You can open more than one at a time.
- This row provides the underlying bid and offer, along with the day and time this contract expires.
- This is the ATM, it will be highlighted in green.
Tips
- Calls on the left Puts on the right.
- You can swipe up or down to view more strikes.
- You can also swipe left or right to see more info.
Creating an Option Spread
Just like our Desktop Solver you can now create option strategies using the mobile app.
To do this all you need to do is tap on bid or offer of each strike you are interested in to open the solver.
- 974 call offer was tapped.
- 970 put bid was tapped.
- The solver is now open.
- You can tap on the sell or buy to change direction.
- You can tap on the ratio to change the qty.
- You can tap here to remove a leg.
- You can tap here to remove everything.
- Tapping here initiates submitting your request to the exchange.
When you tap apply changes our system will look to see if this spread has already been created. If it has not been created we will notify you with the circled notification. This means you need to tap the create button.
- After tapping create you will get a message notifying you that your spread has successfully been created.
- Your new spread will be listed here for easy access and allow you to edit if you need to.
- Tapping trade will open DOM of the spread you just created.
Saving your spread to a quote page
- It is very easy to add your newly created spread to a quote page for easy access.
- Simply tap the plus and you will be given a menu to choose an existing quote page or create a new page. In this example we selected the Main quote page.
- You successfully added a newly created option spread to a quote page. No Saving is necessary.
Helpful Tip You can log press on an option strategy and it will re-load that spread into the Solver.
