In futures and options, an RFQ (Request for Quote) is used to get pricing for contracts that are not actively traded or are complex, like block trades, spreads, or custom options. Traders submit an RFQ to market makers or via an exchange platform, and receive competitive bids and offers.
From the SL dropdown on the Trade Ladder, select RFQ. This will turn on an orange RFQ button, meaning the next order submitted will be an RFQ.
Click anywhere on the bid or offer column like you would to submit an order. Your RFQ requests are displayed in your orderbook like normal orders. Volume of 0 is allowed.
You can send an RFQ for a user defined spread using our Option Strategy Solver
Advanced Data Package is the minimum requirement to use this.
