====== Option Board ======

Our **Option Board** allows you to view and trade any exchange-hosted outright options.  
You can:  
  * Add options markets to a **Quote Board**.  
  * Open them in a **Contract Window**.  
  * Use the new **Option Board window**.  

To open an **Option Board** window, select **Option Board** from the **New Item Menu** and choose the contract you want.

===== Quotes & Order Submission =====

Quotes are displayed as follows:  
  * **Best bid price and volume** → *Blue*  
  * **Best offer price and volume** → *Red*  
  * **Last traded price and volume** → *Green*  

Many additional columns are available in **Quote Board Properties**.

The **Option Board** allows you to submit orders by clicking the **bid and offer** columns:  
  * Clicking a **bid or offer price** opens an **Order Ticket** ready to join the best bid or offer.  
  * Clicking a **bid or offer volume** opens an **Order Ticket** ready to hit the best bid or offer.  

**TIP:** Calls are on the **left**, Puts are on the **right**, and the **strike price** is in the middle.

===== Available Contracts & Customization =====

Across the top of the **Option Board** window is a list of **months available**.

Columns can be added and removed via **Properties**.  
In the **Advanced Section**, you can add details such as:  
  * Open Interest  
  * Days Remaining  
  * Settlement  
  * Expiry Date  

**TIP:** Located in **Option Board Properties** is the **Display Tab**, where you can:  
  * Give your window a **unique name**.  
  * Adjust the **font**.  
  * **Save the window as a default**, applying layout changes to an **Option Strategy Board** for a different product.

===== Trading Ladder =====

To open a **Trading Ladder**, simply **right-click** on the market you want.  
For example, in the image above:  
  * **Right-clicking** on **May 400P** opens a **Put Trading Ladder**.  
  * **Right-clicking** on the **left side** would open a **Call Trading Ladder** for May 400C.

===== Quick Order Entry =====

On the **Option Board**, you can **pre-set a quantity** for faster order entry.  
Whatever quantity you set will be applied when pulling up a **ladder** or **order ticket**.

The **Option Board** will also display:  
  * The **underlying month**.  
  * The **current bid price**.  
  * The **last trade price**.  
  * The **offer price**.
