====== Installation======
T4 has been designed to install very quickly and easily. Just follow the instructions below. If you have any questions please contact your Administrator.

To install the platform you can visit our website at [[http://futures-technologies.plus500.com/|Futures-Technologies.plus500.com]]. At the top of the home page click on the Download Link and choose the platform you wish to install.

**Tip:** The live download and simulated download are two separate environments. So if you open a live acct you will need to install the Live version and use the live user name and password provided by your firm administrator. A simulated user will not work in the live environment.

The Current install might prompt you to install Windows Framework 8.0, and all corresponding windows updates are required to run T4. If you are missing it.
  - Click Open or Run to begin the T4 download and follow the online instructions.
  - If you didn’t click Open or Run, but rather you saved the file to your machine, a double click on the file downloaded will be required to continue the install.
  - Click the shortcut created on the desktop or under Start => Programs => T4.
  - Login to the system using the same details you used to login to the T4 Website.
  - If you have any problems performing the install then please contact your Administrator.

  * Not supported: Windows 10 or lower

If you are on anything lower than 8.0 you need to upgrade If it does not tell you there is another version available then you are on the current version

Suitable for light trading, limited charts, and standard office applications.

  * CPU: Intel Core i5 (12th Gen or newer) / AMD Ryzen 5 equivalent
  * RAM: 32GB
  * Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD
  * GPU: Integrated graphics or dedicated GPU with 4GB VRAM
  * Network: Wired Ethernet connection recommended
  * Monitors: Up to 2 displays

===== Professional User Recommendations =====

Recommended for active traders, multi-monitor setups, large watchlists, automated tools, chart-heavy workflows, and simultaneous use of T4, browsers, Excel, Teams/Zoom, and market data applications.

  * CPU: Intel Core i7/i9 (13th Gen or newer) or AMD Ryzen 7/9
  * RAM:
    * 64GB minimum acceptable
    * 96GB–128GB recommended for professional or power users
  * Storage:
    * 1TB+ NVMe Gen4 SSD
    * Separate SSD recommended for market data/workspace caching
  * GPU:
    * NVIDIA RTX/A-series or AMD Radeon Pro recommended
    * Minimum 8GB VRAM for multi-monitor environments
  * Network:
    * Dedicated wired gigabit connection strongly recommended
  * Monitors:

Recommended configuration:

  * CPU: Intel i9 / AMD Ryzen 9 / Threadripper
  * RAM: 128GB–192GB
  * Storage: 2TB+ NVMe SSD
  * GPU: RTX 4070/4080 class or professional workstation GPU
  * Network: Multi-gig networking preferred

===== Performance Note =====

While T4 can operate on lower specifications, insufficient RAM and storage performance are the most common causes of:

  * Latency
  * Freezing
  * Workspace instability
  * Degraded multi-monitor performance

Professional trading environments should prioritize higher memory capacity, fast NVMe storage, and stable wired networking.

  * To be able to login T4 Mobile for Android requires Android version 4.2 or higher. 
  * T4 Mobile for iOS Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
