====== Installation======
T4 has been designed to install very quickly and easily. Just follow the instructions below. If you have any questions please contact your Administrator.

To install the platform you can visit our website [[http://futures-technologies.plus500.com/|Futures-Technologies.plus500.com]] futures-technologies.plus500.com at the top of the home page click on the Download Link and choose the platform you wish to install.

**Tip:** The live download and simulated download are two separate environments. So if you open a live acct you will need to install the Live version and use the live user name and password provided by your firm administrator. A simulated user will not work in the live environment.

The Current install might prompt you to install Windows Framework 8.0, and all corresponding windows updates are required to run T4. If you are missing it.
  - Click Open or Run to begin the T4 download and follow the online instructions.
  - If you didn’t click Open or Run, but rather you saved the file to your machine, a double click on the file downloaded will be required to continue the install.
  - Click the shortcut created on the desktop or under Start => Programs => T4.
  - Login to the system using the same details you used to login to the T4 Website.
  - If you have any problems performing the install then please contact your Administrator.

**Current T4 Version 8.0:**
  * Recommended: Windows 11 or higher
  * Supported operating systems: Windows 11 or higher
  * Not supported: Windows 10 or lower

**Special Note** to confirm your version you can click the ? which is the help icon on the main window of your desktop version to confirm what version you are on. If you are on anything lower than 8.0 you need to upgrade If it does not tell you there is another version available then you are on the current version

It depends on how many windows and how active the trader is but here are some suggested guidelines:
  * Processor=3 GHz quad core.
  * Memory = 16 Gb Ram
  * Storage = 80+ Gb
  * Video card = 1GB DDR3 or better


Professional/Administrator/Options Pro user
  * Processor= Intel Core i9-14900KF
  * Memory = 64 GB DDR5
  * Storage = 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD
  * Video Memory = 4 GB GDDR5

The T4 Desktop application supports proxy configuration using the following environment variable:

  * To be able to login T4 Mobile for Android requires Android version 4.2 or higher. 
  * T4 Mobile for iOS Requires iOS 9.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

===== Logging In =====

Your Administrator will provide you with the following login details which will allow you to access and install the T4 Trading Front-end. The following three pieces of information will always be required for login.

Firm: Indicates the firm through which you trade.
Username: The name provided to you by your Administrator.
Password: The password provided to you by your Administrator. Your password will be displayed as a series of *’s as you type. This is to prevent anyone from seeing your password. Note: You should not disclose your password to anyone else. If you suspect that someone else may know your password then you should change your password by logging into the website and clicking Change Password, or contact your Administrator.
Language: Click the icon to bring up a drop down to change the language on the platform. You can choose between English, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese. Note for the language to appear in the drop down you need that language pack installed on your PC.


When T4 has added features or made other changes, you will be prompted to upgrade on your next login. You have the option of clicking 'yes' to upgrade now or clicking ‘no’ to upgrade at a later date. Some upgrades are mandatory and must be completed before logging into the front end. If an upgrade is mandatory, you will not have the option to choose ‘no.’
