+In trading, "flatten position" or "flattening a position" refers to closing an existing open position, whether long or short, to eliminate any market exposure.
+Flatten your current position by clicking the **Flatten Position** button.
+A market order will be submitted on the **opposite side** of your position, with a volume up to your **Max Clip Size**.
+If your **net position** is greater than your max clip size, it may take **multiple attempts** to fully flatten your position.
+**Note:** The Flatten button must be enabled in:
+**Main Properties → Window/Contract Window → Separate Order Type.**

+===== Pull on Flatten =====
+**Pull on Flatten** attempts to **pull all working orders** in the selected market **before** flattening an open position using the Flatten tool.
+When **Pull on Flatten** is enabled, a **red box** will appear around the button to indicate that you are using **Pull on Flatten** instead of the standard Flatten function.
